My Background
I am from Imo State, Southeast Nigeria. I grew up in Lagos and attended the Central Bank of Nigeria Primary School, and later the Federal Government Girls' College (FGGC) Onitsha, Anambra. I read botany at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun, Nigeria. Great Ife!
My masters in biodiversity and conservation is from the great University of Leeds, United Kingdom. Subsequently, my doctoral degree in phylogenetic ecology is from the beautiful University of Lausanne, Switzerland. My postdoctoral research experience is from the Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, University of Deusto in Bilbao, and the University of Alicante, both in Spain, and the UFMS in Brazil. I have been a University lecturer at the University of Lagos, Nigeria since 2014.
